Plant-Based Restaurants in London
Vegetables are the starting point at Holy Carrot.
Across our two plant-based restaurants in London, we work with seasonal produce, live fire and fermentation to create food with depth, generosity and a strong sense of place.
Some guests are vegan, some are vegetarian and many simply want to eat exceptionally well. Everyone meets around the same table.
Portobello Road
Our Notting Hill restaurant sits at 156 Portobello Road, surrounded by the energy and colour of the market.
The menu is plant-based and led by what is growing. Vegetables are cooked over fire, preserved and fermented, allowing each ingredient to reveal something unexpected.
Join us for a weekday lunch, a long weekend afternoon, dinner or an evening discovery menu.

Spitalfields
On Brushfield Street, beside Old Spitalfields Market, our vegetarian bistro brings the Holy Carrot approach to East London.
The menu combines fire-cooked vegetables, house ferments and produce from independent growers, with plant-based dishes available alongside wider vegetarian choices.
Stop in for a set lunch near Liverpool Street, dinner after work or a weekend meal with the market just outside.
Two restaurants, one table
Choose Portobello for plant-based dining in Notting Hill, or join us in Spitalfields for vegetable-led cooking near Liverpool Street and Shoreditch.
Both restaurants offer seasonal menus, cocktails and carefully chosen wines, with space for lunch, dinner and larger gatherings.
